Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer, born on August 4, 1981, is an American actress. She is most famous for her performance in the film Cowboys & Aliens,The Haunting in Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful and This Is Where I Leave You and also for her role in the TV series Angela's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne and Suits. The actress is currently starring as Amantha Holden in the Sundance Channel show, a drama called Rectify. Abigail Leigh Spencer has worked in film and television. Her fame was based on her roles as a character in Rectify (a comedy) and Timeless (a science fiction). Her debut as an actor was All My Children, a soap opera based out of Gulf Breeze Florida. She won a Soap Opera Digest Award for the Outstanding Female Newcomer. She played mostly guest roles for several years in TV shows. For instance, in the TV show Hawthorne She was highly praised for playing Dr. Erin Jameson. Her stunning looks and her acting skills gradually, she gained a massive following. At the age twenty she made her first appearance in the film Campfire Stones. Jekyll This Means War & Chasing Mavericks were some of her other movies. In recognition of her performance as a character in Beautiful Now she received a Madrid International Film Festival Award nomination. The most recent role she has played on TV has been in the leading part of the professor of history Lucy Preston in the sci-fi TV show Timeless. Spencer has been nominated as a Teen Choice Award nominee for Spencer's performance in Timeless. The series has won reviews of praise.
