Geena davis is an American actress who has been the movie's star for more than fifty years. She was a Mensa member as well as an actress, who played characters as a character in Thelma & Louise Beetlejuice, Stuart Little and Thelma & Louise. The actress won an Golden Globe Award nomination for her portrayal of Dottie on A League of Their Own. Eva Marie is the youngest child of Italian parents Barry and Josie Nelson. She has three brothers and a sister with the surname of Nathan Neal Nick. Her early childhood was spent in Concord, California. As a child she had aspired to become an elite soccer player. Unfortunately in 2002 during the final year at high school, she sprained her ankle. The injury healed and she continued to play in the striker position at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill California where she got her associate degree in art. She was awarded Junior College All-American honors and was subsequently transferred onto Arizona State University where self-doubt was the reason she decided to end her playing soccer. After that, she attended California State University Fullerton. There, she received a Bachelors in Arts with an emphasis in HR and business management. In Los Angeles, after her studies in business management and human resources she pursued modeling as a profession. In the course of her studies, she came upon the call to audition for W.W.E. In the end, after impressing talent scouts she was given a four-week trial period. In Orlando Florida she started her exercise with through the Performance Center.
